Here at Chaos Magic we take your data seriously and will only use your personal information to send you information about exhibition launches, venue hire, opportunities, events and general information in newsletters.

WHO ARE WE?
Chaos Magic is an artist-run project space based in Nottingham. Through a peer-to-peer learning network and mentorship members organise a public arts community programme spanning a diverse range of events, exhibitions, and workshops. The space is named after ‘Chaos Magic’ a belief system which aims to change reality through ritual practice. Members of the space view chaos magic as a tool through which a fairer world can be manifested through cooperation and inclusivity.
HOW DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM YOU?
We obtain information in two ways. Firstly from our website when you sign up to our newsletter online. Secondly if you provide us with your name and consent within the galleries using our physical newsletter sign up sheets.

We ask the following details:

Email address
We use Arts Council surveys which comply with GDPR law. This is because names and email addresses are not captured they are not identifiable to any one person:
Sex
Age Group
Ethnic Group
Health and disability issues
Postcode
WILL MY DATA BE SHARED WITH ANYONE ELSE?
The only data that is shared is as listed above from the Arts Council surveys. This is a requirement of being funded as a National Portfolio Organisation. Aside from this, we will not share, sell or distribute any of the information that you provide with us without your consent.
HOW DO YOU STORE MY INFORMATION?
Newsletters:
If you sign up to our newsletters the information will be securely stored on mailchimp.
Physical sign up sheets:
Each month we process the physical sign up sheets, once information is stored on mailchimp we will destroy the original copy within the month.
Arts Council Surveys:
Each month we process the surveys onto the Audience Finder website, the original copy will be destroyed within this month.
HOW LONG WILL MY DATA BE STORED FOR?
Newsletters:
Every two years we will contact you to make sure you are still happy receiving our emails.
CAN I WITHDRAW MY CONSENT?
Yes you have the right to do this at any time, just let us know at chaosmagicspace@gmail.com or you can unsubscribed when emailed via the footer.
