Instead of working at The Curious Tower, this week we visited Nat's allotment to learn about willow weaving. Willow can be grown simply by planting the lengths of branches into the soil, and as such has come to symbolise renewal, growth, vitality and immortality.
When we create beds for the plants, walls can be weaved from willow to create the boundaries.
