FRANCIS SLIP

Francis Slip is a small-name-in-Notts trying to build a more inclusive world through oral storytelling and mucking about in the dirt. Their work centres around food sovereignty and justice, bodily autonomy, and eco-diversity. Some of the methods they use to embody these are regenerative horticulture, permaculture principles, communal eating, and the establishment of local community support networks.

Previously, their work has manifested as creative writing, performance, photography, architectural-models-cum-playsets… But at the mo, they’re busy making things happen at The Curious Tower (a piece of land in Nottingham city centre stewarded by Chaos Magic). Find them spreading spent hops, making herby brews in the ghillie kettle, and scribbling quotes by Vandana Shiva on the garden’s chalkboard.
